We wrapped our latest 'Power in Solidarity’ training series, where we train participants on how to organize effectively, take collective action, and move our communities towards lasting change and liberation. The training explored: 1) the fundamentals of contemporary community organizing, 2) shared interest storytelling: connecting through values and experiences, listening & 1:1s, 3) how to build trust and bring people into the work, and 4) running effective meetings: tools to strengthen your organizing spaces. Dozens of participants joined us for all four sessions, and helped us build community and buy-in for collective defense of immigrants and our democracy.
