Last year, in collaboration with leaders of the movement for immigration justice, we launched the Solidarity Organizing Initiative. It began with the Solidarity Pledge to stand up for our values and our neighbors. More than 20,000 people from all 50 states have taken the pledge, and close to 10,000 people have received training and are taking action and building Solidarity Hubs in communities across the country. As we head into the new year, we are welcoming the SOI staff to The Action Lab staff team to take this work to the next level. As violence against immigrants and protesters has continued to escalate in tragic ways, it is more important than ever to show up for our neighbors and say we reject xenophobia and authoritarianism and will organize to stand up for our values! We look forward to sharing more updates in the months ahead, but if you haven’t already, we encourage you to sign the pledge and join this effort!
