We held the first three mass training sessions for signatories of the Solidarity Pledge on Feb. 10th, 12th, and 15th. The sessions were at full-capacity with hundreds attending and many more people on the waiting list. Each session began with a welcome song from our board member Aloe Blacc and then jumped into discussions of the current state of play on immigration policy and enforcement, movement responses, and an overview of our Solidarity Organizing Initiative.
The call ends by discussing the myriad ways for folks to plug in. After the sessions, we share outreach flyers, Know Your Rights primers, and more. Across all three sessions, the energy was fantastic and attendees got inspired to take action: 53% signed up to become community educators, 26% signed up to become solidarity hub organizers, 26% signed up to become solidarity recruiters, and 25% signed up to become strategic action corps leaders.

We cannot wait to continue building off this fantastic foundation and fight for immigrant justice!
