About Belafonte Fellowship

The Belafonte Fellowship supports artists who use their creative work to advance justice, building on the legacy of The Action Lab’s co-founder, Harry Belafonte. Fellows collaborate directly with grassroots communities to create performances, programs, and events that link cultural expression with movement strategy. The fellowship nurtures artists as cultural strategists, bridging the personal, political, and creative in service of liberation.
