Alejandro Banuelos

Alejandro grew up in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles and fell in love with his community while he was miles away studying Black Studies at Northwestern University. He leads the Brothers, Sons, Selves coalition where he is working with boys and men of color to develop their political consciousness and forge worlds without police. Alejandro works to anchor his youth organizing in the ethics of abolition and decolonization.
