Syrretta Martin
Syrretta Martin, LMSW, is a Bronx native, fibromyalgia warrior, health and disability advocate, community builder, runner, and cohort member of the Culture of Health Leaders Institute for Racial Healing. Her professional career has centered on supporting persons from underrepresented populations to promote their health and well-being. As a recent founder of Collective Healing, a health and wellness community for women of color, she is passionate about promoting our autonomy on how we choose to heal, live, and experience joy while navigating the ebbs and flows of disability and disease. Through this experience, she hopes to exercise her agency to choose stillness, to pause, and reflect on sustainable ways to continue to utilize her voice and platform to center women of color in conversations on disability and disease, health equity, and autonomy.
