Solidarity Pledge Launch

We hope this message finds you in fighting and organizing spirits. 

Many of us have been anxious about the impact a second Trump administration will have on the lives of communities across the country. Now more than ever, we need to build power, organize and move forward together. 

These next four years will bring many challenges and, with them, many opportunities to build power within our communities. We must seize the opportunities to organize the millions of Americans who are ready to fight back against injustice. That’s why TODAY, The Action Lab, Make the Road States, United We Dream and CASA are launching a Solidarity Pledge. 

The Solidarity Pledge will connect us to each other and allow us to engage thousands across the country to get organized, and prepared, to take action as Trump sows chaos and terror, targeting families, children, immigrant youth and workers. 

We believe in our collective resilience, and we know we must be strategic and nimble. We must engage more people to stand up for the society we aspire to build. 

Please join the fight  for justice by:

2. Encouraging your loved ones and networks to do the same!
3. Posting on your social media platforms using the attached digital toolkit, and

Let us remember the words of Martin Luther King Jr.:"Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that". 

As we celebrate his birthday, let’s honor his legacy with our actions. We will not be silent in the face of brutality. We will be the light in the face of darkness.
