The People's Gala (REBNY is Killing NY)

At The Action Lab we believe in walking the walk, not just talking the talk. Social change requires (direct) action. That’s why we joined tenants and housing organizers on January 16th for The People’s Gala, an action protesting the Real Estate Board of New York’s (REBNY) annual gala. REBNY is the leading corporate housing lobby in New York and fought to block or rescind critical tenant protections like Good Cause and the Housing Stability and Tenant Protection Act (HSTPA). We stand in solidarity with tenants and are putting landlords on notice! 2025 is the year of the tenants.
