The Action Lab is excited to welcome the newest member of our team, Senior Organizer Yaritza Mendez. Yaritza has over 10 years of community organizing and campaign experience. Most recently Yaritza was the Co-Director of Organizing at Make the Road New York, where she led and supported their immigration and housing portfolios. She began her trajectory at Make the Road at the age of 14, working on in-state and out-of-state tuition for undocumented students and supporting the organization's efforts fighting to win and implement Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
