About this event

We are excited to be kicking off another season of our Freedom Forward Film Series with The Five Demands, a riveting story about the 1969 City College of New York student strike that changed the face of higher education forever.

Join us on Thursday, November 30, at CUNY's New Plaza Cinema at Lincoln Center, where, following the screening, we will hear from director Greta Schiller and two leaders of the protests, civil rights attorney Charles Powell and journalist Rosalind Kilkenny McLymont.
