About this event

Join us in Puerto Rico for "Del Sur P'al Caribe," a vibrant street festival and the next chapter in Liberation Summer! This event marks the launch of La Tejedora, an initiative aimed at knitting together solidarity, strategies, and action among social justice activists in Puerto Rico and beyond. Featuring Belafonte Fellow Ana Tijoux and other top-tier artists, we'll celebrate culture, resistance, and continue our celebration of the 50 years of hip-hop and 50 years of resistance to neo-liberalism.

La Tejedora is the brainchild of two Puerto Rican organizers and leaders, focusing on the rights to remain, to return, and highlighting the pivotal role of youth in spearheading change. With nearly 6 million Boricuas in the diaspora, the time for this connection has never been more critical.

With perfomances by Ana Tijoux, Hijo de Borikén, DJ Ethos, DJ Velcro, Ana Macho, DJ Toca Ale, Hordatoj and some very special guests....you won't want to miss this!
