About this event

Join us for a conversation with Amanda Cea and Victor Chanfreau, leaders of the 2019 Chilean student protests joined by NYC student activists.

What began as mass train fare evasion in Chile, in response to a 30 cent increase, grew into a nationwide movement and rejection of the post-military dictatorship.

They will be sharing their experiences in the global struggle for a just education, against police brutality, and the neoliberal economic model.
