The Action Lab actively celebrated International Workers' Day, aka May Day, on May 1st. Our communications team helped design the logo that adorned flyers and banners nationwide, and also helped coordinate the rally and march that brought thousands into the streets of New York City. It was one of the most lively May Days in recent memory, featuring a huge turnout, creative direct actions, and the involvement of diverse organizations from across labor and civil society. Our team is working closely with local and national partners to use the momentum from this organizing to continue building a more powerful and resilient labor movement and prepare for more mobilizations of working people in the months ahead to defend critical social safety nets and push for an economy that works for all.

Watch a recap of May Day here.
