Rivers of Care at the COP in Brazil

In partnership with indigenous leaders and organizers, and allies from the labor movement, The Action Lab traveled to the Cop 30 in Belém, Brazil. Our aim has been to seed relationships, challenge dominant narratives, and build power at the global climate convening. Yesterday, as part of our delegation, we co-hosted Rivers of Care, a gathering with life and land defenders and community leaders to learn practices for care, storytelling, and visioning together. It was a powerful and moving intergenerational space that bridged cultures and traditions—weaving the defense of life and earth together.
