As part of our Liberation Summer programming, 'Sembrando Resistencia' celebrated Loisaida's Puerto Rican community gardens over three days in August. The event featured discussions with community leaders, archival footage, Oral Mapping workshops, a panel discussion, walking tours of the gardens, and a screening of "Viva Loisaida!" along with live music at the historic Plaza Cultural Garden, honoring the cultural spaces reclaimed through grassroots action.
