Somatics for Trauma-Centered Lawyering Workshop

Lawyers often find themselves working with clients who are traumatized and legal proceedings can themselves be traumatizing. This is why engaged lawyers must understand trauma and be able to support those experiencing it. On October 15th, we hosted a somatics training focused on trauma-centered lawyering at Fordham University. The training brought together lawyers from a variety of backgrounds and practice areas. Participants left the training with tools to practice centering themselves in order to be more grounded in their purpose as trauma-centered lawyers.
